Ascension Music Ministry

The Music Ministry of Ascension encourages children and adults of any age to participate.  Many of our children attend Word of Life School and participate in its varied music program, including choir, band, handbells and recorder.

WORSHIP TEAM

  • Practice on Thursday evenings, 7:00 p.m. in Sanctuary
  • Leads worship weekly at 11:00 a.m. service
  • Singers and instrumentalists (guitar/bass, percussion, etc) always needed

CHOIR

  • Rehearse on Thursday evenings, 7:30 - 9:00 p.m.
  • Sing for worship 2 - 3 times per month, mostly at 8:15 a.m. service
  • Special music for festival services
  • Palm Sunday Cantata
  • Adults and Teens invited to join

ASCENDING PRAISE HANDBELL CHOIR

  • Rehearse Sunday mornings, 9:45 - 10:45 a.m.
  • Three octave set of handbells
  • Play several times a year
  • Accommodate busy schedules of ringers
  • Teens and adults welcome
